Join us in Athens for the CO2 PACMAN Impact Forum – Co-Designing Pathways to Climate Neutrality: From Island Experience to Wider Change, a landmark gathering dedicated to the future of climate-neutral territories, participatory governance, and sustainable regional transformation. Taking place from 20–22 May 2026 at the iconic Divani Acropolis Hotel, this final event will bring together European institutions, regional and local authorities, researchers, innovators, civil society actors, youth representatives, and project partners to reflect on the journey of CO2 PACMAN and explore the pathways ahead.

Set against the historic backdrop of Athens and the Acropolis, the Forum will offer a dynamic and inspiring space for dialogue, collaboration, and exchange. Over three days, participants will engage in high-level discussions on climate governance, island transition strategies, regional cooperation, innovation for decarbonisation, community engagement, and the role of youth in shaping resilient and climate-neutral futures.

The programme will feature keynote interventions, policy dialogues, interactive sessions, innovation showcases, and presentations from the project’s pilot territories, highlighting lessons learned and practical experiences emerging from island living labs in the Mediterranean. Special attention will also be given to tools, methodologies, and collaborative approaches that can support the transfer of climate-neutral solutions from island contexts to wider regional and urban environments.

Beyond the formal sessions, the Forum will create valuable opportunities for networking and connection among stakeholders from across Europe, fostering new synergies and future collaborations. Participants will also experience the cultural heritage of Athens through curated activities and social events designed to encourage meaningful exchange in an inspiring setting.

The CO2 PACMAN Impact Forum represents more than a project closing event — it is a forward-looking platform for dialogue, capitalization, and collective action toward a more sustainable and climate-neutral Mediterranean region.
