The Island I Would Like Labs
What would your island look like if it were climate neutral?
The Island I Would Like Labs are three day participatory workshops, within the CO2 PACMAN project, where this question becomes a shared exercise in co-creation. Local authorities, researchers, businesses, youth, and citizens work side by side to imagine and design realistic pathways toward a climate neutrality island future.
Through interactive sessions, work groups, and direct exploration of the territory, participants identify feasible action rooted in local needs and opportunities. The focus spans key sectors such as renewable energy, mobility, food systems, waste and water management, and nature-based solutions.
With these Labs it is time to turn knowledge into action, translating project insights into practical decarbonisation options and feeding directly into each island’s Climate Neutrality Transition Roadmap.
