The 3rd CO2 PACMAN Rooting Lab took place in Elba and Florence from February 11-13, 2025, uniting policymakers, researchers, businesses, and citizens to advance Mediterranean decarbonization efforts. The event focused on sustainable energy transition, circular economy practices, and climate resilience, featuring strategic discussions and expert insights. A greenhouse gas emissions report for Elba was presented, highlighting potential decarbonization pathways. Interactive workshops engaged stakeholders in co-creating solutions for climate neutrality. Following successful labs in Brač and Crete, Elba marked the final event of the first round, setting the stage for the next phase of Rooting Labs aimed at driving real-world sustainability actions.
