Engagement of young students of secondary schools and universities of pilot islands and beyond called to co-create and represent their vision of a net zero carbon future.
The CO2 PACMAN Youth Think Tank, held on March 11, 2025, in Portoferraio, Elba, engaged students from Raffaello Foresi High School in interactive workshops on sustainability and decarbonization. Led by university students from Siena and Florence, the initiative used peer-to-peer learning and games to foster ecological awareness. The event emphasized the importance of youth participation in shaping a climate-neutral future, reinforcing that “Decarbonizing is a COOL GAME.” This marks the beginning of an ongoing engagement, with students set to contribute to “The Island I Would Like” in 2026. CO2 PACMAN continues to empower young minds for real climate action.
