Engagement of young students from secondary schools in Crete to explore and co-create pathways toward climate neutrality.
The CO2 PACMAN Youth Think Tank in Crete, held on October 10, 2024, in Rethymno, engaged students and educators in an interactive introduction to decarbonization and climate neutrality. Hosted at the Rethymno Town Hall, the event combined presentations, open discussion, and simulation-based activities to encourage youth participation in climate action. Through peer-to-peer learning, virtual reality simulations, and the presentation of a digital game created by local students, participants explored how individual choices and collective action can shape a climate-neutral future. The Youth Think Tank marked the beginning of a long-term engagement process, empowering young people in Crete to actively contribute to CO2 PACMAN’s co-design labs and future climate action initiatives.
